Aftercare at Higher Elevation

An installation is only half the job; looking after your Lift correctly and having the correct service plays a big part in allowing the lift to give you trouble free use for numerous years to come.


Depending on which product you chose to be supplied and fitted by Higher Elevation, will determine what warranty is provided, and how many service visits your lift should receive given the application.
Our engineers are CRB checked, hold I.D Cards and are in Uniform at all times
All of our lifts will come with a standard 12, 24, or 60 month full warranty which will include any parts and labour costs, as well as scheduled routine maintenance visits during this period (required to comply with British Standards - It is like the equivalent to having a Car's M.O.T).

Service Contract

Once your lift’s initial warranty period expires, our excellent service plans with a choice of cover will be available. Giving you the option to choose between our comprehensive maintenance package or our simple budget service contract.

By taking out a service maintenance contract with Higher Elevation, you’ll receive numerous benefits, including:
Regular service visits by qualified, trained, insured engineers
Within 24 hour breakdown response - 365 days a year
Priority attendance for break down service
Evening and weekend break down service
Reduced discount on spare parts and labour costs
Telephone assistance 7-days a week
Discount for multiple lifts and contracts

Higher Elevation may even be able to offer you a service maintenance contract if we didn’t install your lift, subject to a one-off service visit analysis.

I would like to make the following comments further to your recent work carried out on my stairlift:

Having made the call to your 24-hour service, a call was returned and the gentleman was extremely helpful in making sure we tried everything we could to resolve the problem ourselves before confirming on site attendance was really needed. An engineer arrived promptly and again was extremely helpful. The lift had broken parts and was unable to be fixed on site, and so the unit was taken away for repairs in your workshop, which was undertaken very quickly and at minimal cost to us. At all times the seriousness of the breakdown was fully appreciated by everybody we spoke to, and, as such, every effort was made to ensure that the unit was repaired and re-installed as quickly as possible. The complete service that was provided to us was exceptional. My mother is totally dependent upon the stairlift to provide her with mobility, and this particular problem occurred at a time when my father, who helps care for my mother when at home, had been taken in to hospital, so the need for the stairlift was even more important. I would like to pass on my thanks to all those involved in making this repair as pleasurable an experience as possible for us and our family, given the circumstances

I would like to put on record my appreciation and sincere thanks to you for the work you undertook in repairing my mother’s stairlift. I called in to report the fault and within a couple of hours the repair had been completed. I was informed in detail what the fault had been, was charged a competitive rate and was also recommended an annual service, which was scheduled in there and then. Not being on site I was most grateful that no drama was made about payment, I was taken on trust and it was agreed that a bill would be forwarded to me on completion.
