How much does a rental stairlift cost?

With rental stairlifts there is usually an initial set up fee, as a minimum this should include the installation and removal of the stairlift. The cost also varies depending if you need a straight or curved stairlift. We have tried to simplify it below:
A straight stairlift initial set up fee can typically cost anything from £450 - £1500 depending on your provider and the make & model of stairlift being offered. 
A curved stairlift initial set up fee can typically cost anything from £2500 - £5500 depending on your provider and the make & model of stairlift being offered. Always make sure that the stairlift rail on a curved stairlift is bespoke to your staircase. 
The monthly rental payment can typically cost anything between £50-100 per month. 

Is there a minimum or maximum term contract on a rental stairlift?

This my change between providers, for us there is no minimum or maximum term contract for our rental stairlifts.

What is included in the monthly rental costs of the stairlift?

This can vary between providers, for us the monthly rental fee covers any call outs, spare parts and servicing that is required for the stairlift.

Is there any damaged left after a rental stairlift has been removed?

Once the stairlift has been removed there will be holes left in the carpet pile. The stairlift is secured to the stair treads via small screws. 

What happens to the stairlift after we cancel our rental?

When the stairlift is no longer required, you should call your provider and have them remove the rental stairlift completely. The stairlift will be removed by a trained, competent technician and removed from the property.
