At Higher Elevation, we are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint and improve our environment.
We are excited to announce that we are working with Kent County Council on the loan of a new electric van. The Kent REVS Up for Cleaner Air scheme, will bring us closer to our goal of Net Zero emissions. The scheme will also help us to monitor low carbon emissions and reduce air pollution on Kent and south east roads.
This is a joint funded scheme with Kent County Council and Highways England.
"The low carbon trial will help us to understand the benefits electrification will bring to our business and the environment, plus the challenges we may face, as we begin our journey towards electrifying our fleet," comments Nash from Higher Elevation. "2020 Higher Elevation made the investment for their first electric car, so were we're excited to be supporting Kent County Council in the REVs up scheme. Everyone should be able to enjoy clean air, and electric vehicles can really help improve air quality on our roads and reducing noise from traffic."
